What Is Aluminum Anodizing?
Anodizing is an electrochemical treatment that transforms the surface of aluminum into a protective oxide layer. Unlike paint, this layer becomes part of the metal itself rather than sitting on top of it.
The result is a durable finish that improves corrosion resistance and surface wear resistance, with clear and coloured options to suit your project.

Corrosion resistance
The oxide layer is part of the aluminum itself, so it does not peel or flake like a paint. It helps protect parts exposed to moisture and demanding environments, which extends their service life.

From surface preparation to final inspection, each stage helps achieve the finish your parts require.
We clean the aluminum to remove oils, grease and other surface contaminants before treatment.
The surface is prepared according to the desired finish. This may include etching to create a more uniform, matte appearance.
The parts are immersed in an electrolyte bath, where an electrical current forms a controlled oxide layer on the aluminum surface.
When a coloured finish is required, the parts undergo a colouring step before sealing. Clear anodizing retains the uncoloured appearance of the anodized aluminum.
The anodized layer is sealed, and the parts are inspected to check the finish against the agreed project requirements.
